We are camping tonight in Bastrop State Park. Its nice to be camping in a park setting again. The forecast is for heavy rain late tonight and through the morning, so we're taking some precautions like making sure the tents are well staked and all gear is under cover, having our map meeting and packing our lunches tonight.

The German rocket machine has three parts: a Hase hybrid tandem, Jenny and Felix. Both 29 years old, Jenny has just finished her PhD in math at Technische Universitaet Darmstadt and Felix is an engineer at the same university working on sub-micron gyroscopes. Now for the most important question: who sits in front and who behind? They switch, spending about equal time in each position. A match made in heaven.
